About the museum
The museum is located in the Centro di Apicoltura di Ca' Cappellino, in the municipality of Porto Viro, where the producers of Miele del Delta del Po process, pack and sell their product.
The route, designed for visitors and especially for school groups, presents the life of bees and related activities: with panels, display cases with natural nests of hymenopterans and equipment for processing honey, it illustrates honey, propolis, pollen, royal jelly and wax.
For schools there is also a practical workshop with microscope observations, video screenings and wax working, as well as direct observation of bees in the nearby apiary. The shop sells honey from the Parco del Delta del Po.
