A route on the Moon as a measure of time, myth and destination of space travel, from observation of the sky to the Apollo and Artemis missions, with a planetarium, virtual reality experiences and an interactive area on gravity.
More than a hundred paintings, watercolours and sketchbooks by six naturalist artists from the Ars et Natura collective depict the Venetian Lagoon and the Valli di Jesolo and document the changes in this wetland.
About the museum
JMuseo is the civic museum of Jesolo, conceived as a new cultural and community hub for the town. The building, the result of research, design and technology, has a distinctive triangular geometry and an eco-friendly approach, with a large skylight that brings natural light inside.
The structure has four floors dedicated to exhibitions; the ground floor houses a large hall for meetings and lectures, while the panoramic terrace on the top floor takes in both the sea and the lagoon, the two sides of Jesolo. A wide opening in the wall of the second floor makes it possible to display large works and finds.
Among the permanent exhibitions is “Memorie di Jesolo”, a tribute to the identity of the area: a model handmade by three residents of Jesolo that recreates the historic centre as it was more than a century ago, with houses, town hall, church, inn, school, the Cavetta canal and the vaporetto (water bus) landings for Venice. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions of art and photography.
