About the museum
The educational museum “Memorie del Tempo” is set up in an atmospheric basement space of the town hall of Perosa Canavese. It displays everyday objects from the 19th century and the first decades of the 20th century, grouped by theme.
Each piece is catalogued with its Italian name and its Piedmontese name and, in some cases, accompanied by a note on its use. The route also includes casts of rock engravings from the Anfiteatro Morenico di Ivrea (Ivrea morainic amphitheatre), the glacial landform that characterises the area.
