About the museum
The Museo della Carale, also known as Archimuseo A. Accattino, is dedicated to conceptual artistic expressions linked to language and the word, which emerged from the verbo-visual research of the 1960s and 1970s. Since 2008, exhibitions and events have defined this orientation.
The works in the collection are displayed in a permanent but dynamic exhibition, continually updated: artists, including those not in the collection, may propose new works, and works from private collections are also accepted. The programme includes exhibitions, for example on Emilio Villa and Martino Oberto, and initiatives in experimental music.
