About the museum
The museum is housed at the Rolfo company headquarters in Bra and was set up by the group's founders, Giorgio and Bernardo Rolfo, in tribute to their grandfather Giorgio and their father Antonio, the pioneers and promoters of the company. It documents the history and experience of the firm, which has shaped the city's industrial life since the late 19th century.
The business began as a wheelwright's workshop building carts and carriages, founded by Giorgio Rolfo. With the arrival of motorisation it adapted to new needs and turned to repairing lorries, with the help of the founder's three sons. Today Rolfo is one of the largest groups in the industrial vehicle sector and a leader in fitting out equipment for transporting vehicles.
