About the museum
The museum is dedicated to Vincenzo Lancia, born in Fobello, in the Valsesia, and founder of the car manufacturer that bears his name. The exhibition occupies the second floor of Palazzo Giuseppe Lancia and was opened on 20 September 2009; the rooms are named after the brand's models.
Since 1995 Fobello has also been home to the Valsesia Lancia Story club, which has more than two hundred members and organises meetings, gatherings and initiatives to preserve the history and culture associated with Lancia. The village also has Villa Lancia, the family residence, enlarged by Vincenzo in the 1920s, with a park and terraces.
According to the club's website, the museum is currently closed for renovation work.
