About the museum
The Museo ravennate di scienze naturali “Alfredo Brandolini”, known as NatuRa, is located in Sant’Alberto, in the territory of Ravenna, in Via Rivaletto. It houses the visitor centre of the Parco del Delta del Po and is run by the cooperative Atlantide as part of the AmaParco network.
The centre is the starting point for exploring the Ravenna section of the Po Delta Park on foot, by bicycle and by canoe. It offers guided excursions to Punte Alberete, Boscoforte and the Valli di Comacchio, where flamingos and many other birds can be observed, and rents out bicycles and pedal-assist bikes. The route “Argine degli Angeli” reaches Lido di Spina over 18 km, while the circuit of the Valli di Comacchio measures 56 km.
The museum is currently closed to the public for the re-display of its collection; outdoor activities continue from other starting points.
