Seat of the Musei civici of Domodossola in a former Franciscan convent: picture gallery, archaeological section, sacred art and natural sciences.

The exhibition, extended until January 2027, is devoted to the ornaments and jewellery of the Ossola as an expression of elegance and local identity.
The palace stands on the site of a church from the late 13th century dedicated to Saint Francis, with an adjoining convent, where in 1381 the act of submission of the people of Ossola to the Visconti was signed. After the Napoleonic period the church passed to the State; the Belli family transformed it into a palace, demolishing the bell tower and adding an external double-ramp staircase.
In 1879 the building was bought by the Fondazione Gian Giacomo Galletti, which renamed it Palazzo Galletti. After a partial restoration the Foundation established its seat there in 1884, with the artistic, natural history and ethnographic collections and the library. When the Foundation was dissolved, in 1986 the property passed to the municipality of Domodossola.
Today it houses the Musei civici: on the ground floor there are temporary exhibitions and frescoes of the former church (14th–16th centuries); the upper floors contain the natural science collections, the picture gallery, the archaeological section and the sacred art section, according to the description of the venue. The palace is accessible by lift and ramps.
