About the museum
Ràixe is a project of the Cooperativa Millepiedi of Sant’Antioco, which combines a digital archive with a museum display to gather documents, experiences and memories of Tabarchin culture and to foster intercultural dialogue.
The route tells four centuries of Tabarchin history, from its origins in Pegli to Tabarka, Carloforte, Nueva Tabarca and Calasetta, through testimonies from the community, video interviews, archive materials and family photographs. The content is spread over about twenty panels and can be consulted with tablets, which read QR codes and allow the texts to be read or listened to in five languages.
