About the museum

The Lībiešu saieta nams (Livonian Assembly House) in Kolka presents the Livonian culture of North Kurzeme, traditional occupations, the sound of the language and the cultural-historical heritage of the coast. The house offers the opportunity to host and attend cultural events, seminars, workshops and exhibitions, and it also provides tourist information.

The building houses the exhibition “Kolka. Divas jūras. Viena sala. Trīs valodas”, which displays objects from the Kolka group collection of the Lībiešu savienība (Livonian Union). The house also has a library and a hall for changing exhibitions.
