About the museum
The Dieveniškių istorinio regioninio parko lankytojų centras (Dieveniškės Historical Regional Park Visitor Centre) is located in Poškonys, in the restored building of the former Poškonys school. The building was reconstructed on the surviving foundations, recreating the volume and facade of the authentic building.
A small exhibition displays household objects and farm tools from the 19th–20th centuries, collected in the Dieveniškės area. The information centre also holds a set of looms, bed covers, tablecloths and towels, and selected collections of patterns. A stone sculpture park has been laid out beside the centre; guides can be booked here, and park publications can be bought.
