About the museum
The Muzeum Parafialne w Kraczewicach, also called the Minimuzeum, opened in August 2012 after the parish feast and harvest festival, during the first parish picnic. It operates at the parish of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus in Kraczewice Prywatne and is housed in the building of the former parsonage.
The exhibition has a local character. It shows sacred objects such as chasubles, books and liturgical items, mementos connected with the history of the local OSP volunteer fire brigade, as well as regional objects and historic technical items of everyday use. According to the description on the regional tourism portal, visitors can see exhibits from the time of the People's Republic of Poland (PRL), a village room from the post-war period, and old agricultural machines and tools.
Visits are possible after prior registration at the parish, and entry is for a symbolic fee.
