About the museum
The collection began in the early 2000s with the owner’s first military vehicle, a GAZ 69 from 1964. Over time the collection grew with further military vehicles and, later, with historic civilian vehicles.
On 6 August 2010, after consultations with the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the statute of the Private Museum of Military and Historic Vehicles was approved, and the museum began operating. The collection includes military vehicles (38), police vehicles (4), medical vehicles (5), fire engines (16) and civilian vehicles (16), as well as artillery. Some vehicles are awaiting restoration.
