Temporarily closed. The museum has been closed for a long time because of a comprehensive reconstruction; no reopening date is given.

About the museum

The Múzeum kultúry Čechov na Slovensku (Museum of the Culture of Czechs in Slovakia) is part of the Slovak National Museum in Martin and is its youngest permanent exhibition. It is located on Moyzesova Street in Martin and is devoted to the history and culture of the Czech minority in Slovakia.

The exhibition presents the distinctive living environment and work of Anna and Jiří Horák, prominent personalities who documented the traditions of relations between Czechs and Slovaks.

The building is currently undergoing comprehensive reconstruction, and the museum has therefore been closed for a long time; after the renewal it is to open to visitors in newly reconstructed premises.
