About the museum

The RONA company has operated its own glass museum for more than 30 years. Visitors will find exhibits more than 100 years old, rare works by artists from around the world, and ordinary production of the glassworks, especially from the last century.

The permanent exhibition traces the history of production at the glassworks in Lednické Rovne from its founding in 1892 to the present. It also includes works by Slovak and foreign artists created at international glass symposiums; this tradition has been linked to the RONA glassworks since 1992.

The museum also includes a gallery in the grounds of the manor house (kaštieľ), which presents the works of glass artists through temporary exhibitions. Visitors can also book a guided tour of the plant and shop at the company's showroom.
