About the museum
The Oldtimer Stara Gora association was founded in 2004 by enthusiasts of vintage technology, in order to systematically preserve the technical and movable cultural heritage of their area. At first the association had its premises in the old school in Stara Gora. In 2014 it bought the former farm known as the Domajnk farmstead (Domajnkova domačija) in Bolehnečici, renovated it, and in 2017 opened a museum there; the association's headquarters moved into it.
Today the museum holds more than 8000 objects. The collections include carefully restored vehicles, agricultural machinery and vintage tractors, vintage motorcycles (including Puch, DKW, BMW and Jawa), bicycles, traditional clothing and textiles, household objects and craft products. A wine shop has been set up in the cellar.
