About the museum
The Casa del Parque Natural de las Fuentes del Narcea, Degaña e Ibias opened at the end of December 2008 in the former stables of the Corias monastery, which were restored for this use. The two-storey building has around 700 m² of usable space.
The permanent route combines panels, texts, photographs, audiovisuals and models. It is divided into five spaces: the natural environment, the relationship between people and their environment, the park as a tool for the future, the Corias monastery and the remains of an old cocoa mill used by the Dominican friars. The centre also provides general information about the Natural Park.
