About the museum

The Muniellos Visitor Reception Centre is in Las Tablizas, in Cangas del Narcea, at the point from which access to the Integral Reserve of Muniellos is organised. Specialist staff welcome visitors, guide them and provide further information on the reserve and its routes.

The centre includes a small permanent exhibition with text panels, photographs and maps explaining the natural values of Muniellos: flora, fauna and landscape. Beside the river, near Las Tablizas, there is a 500 m accessible self-guided trail with Braille information.

Good to know	The authorised route through the interior of Muniellos requires a permit; access to the Integral Reserve is limited to twenty visitors per day and requires authorisation from the Principality of Asturias. Pets may not enter the interior.
