About the museum
The Centro de Interpretación de la Ciudad de Ágreda y el Territorio offers a tour through the history of this town in Soria, from the Arab occupation, between the 8th and 9th centuries, to the present day. The visit explains how the old Islamic walled enclosure was transformed into today's open town.
The exhibition combines models, explanatory panels, audiovisuals and a virtual tour from the medieval walled enclosure to the present city, and includes a reproduction of an Arab pottery workshop with an original kiln found in the excavations and ceramic remains. The visit also covers the site's history as a former military barracks, now converted into a cultural space. Admission is free, and visiting dates and times are checked at the Ágreda Tourist Office.
