About the museum
Chillida Lantoki occupies a former paper factory in Legazpi that has been converted into a museum, and shows the relationship between art and industry through Eduardo Chillida, one of the most important Basque sculptors. The artist came to Legazpi to make his monumental sculptures, which are now displayed in squares and museums around the world.
Visitors find the sculptor’s paper and forge workshops, the machines of the Gran Forja of Patricio Echeverría and interviews with workers, among other content. The museum is part of the Territorio Lenbur, the network of museum spaces of the Lenbur Foundation in Legazpi, and shares a building with Fabrika, which is reached from this museum.
