El Rincón del Pan

Visit to the Igaralde farmhouses in the rural district of Brinkola (Legazpi), with a 16th-century water mill and traditional bread-making.

Ask the museum for opening hoursAdmission €4

About the museum

In the rural district of Brinkola, at the foot of Aizkorri, stand the Igaralde Goikoa and Igaralde Bekoa farmhouses. In the first, its owner still bakes bread in the traditional way. The second houses a 16th-century mill that still grinds grain with the power of the water from the Urola river.

The visit, which is part of the offer of the Lenbur Territory run by the Lenbur Foundation, allows visitors to get to know the farmhouse and see the mill at work, with the option of tasting a small bread roll. It takes place by prior appointment. A family workshop, Errotari, is offered for families.
