About the museum
The Fundació Apel·les Fenosa is devoted to the work of the sculptor Apel·les Fenosa (1899–1988), a friend of Picasso whose work inspired leading poets of his time. The foundation, set up in 2002, has its seat and museum in El Vendrell, in the artist's restored summer house, surrounded by Mediterranean gardens.
The museum holds original sculptures in terracotta and plaster and a selection of bronze monuments, which allow the sculptor's work to be followed. The visit takes place in the sculptor's own house, on Carrer Major in El Vendrell.
