About the museum
The Ceutí museum is devoted to the work of the Murcian sculptor Antonio Campillo Párraga, who was named an adopted son of the town. It occupies a house-museum on calle Clavijo, at whose entrance stands the sculpture “Pisando fuerte”.
According to Wikipedia, a large part of the artist's work, around 68 sculptures and 40 drawings, is shared between this museum and Murcia. The museum forms part of the town's cultural offering alongside the Museo al Aire Libre de Ceutí, which displays contemporary sculptures in streets, parks and gardens, and where “La ciclista” by the same artist can be found.
