About the museum
The Museo Catedral de Valencia occupies a rehabilitated building next to the cathedral and forms part of the cultural visit of the church. Its route spans from Roman times to the present and can be followed in chronological order or by room.
Among its holdings, works by Juan de Juanes stand out, such as the Last Supper and Alejo de Vahía's Dormition of the Virgin, along with pieces by the Hernandos and by the Master of Alzira. Objects that were formerly used in worship and no longer have a place in the church are also displayed. The Borja library and the chapel of the Holy Chalice are distinctive spaces.
