About the museum
La Casa del Pou, also called the Museu Històric i Artístic de la Llosa de Ranes, is a space for promoting the cultural heritage of the municipality. Following a rehabilitation project in the same building that housed the previous museum, it has renewed its message with a new museographic approach.
The museum presents the recent history of La Llosa de Ranes based on the experiences of its inhabitants, who have contributed testimonies, objects and photographs. The route covers the cycles of life and of society, the París district, the agricultural cooperative, the distinctive dance of the wake, the spa, the urban fountains and the hermitage of Santa Anna with its romería.
La Casa del Pou has a room for temporary exhibitions and invites residents to donate objects to expand the local heritage collection.
