About the museum

The Museo Etnológico de Enguera is housed in the premises of the Casa de la Cultura “Manuel Tolsá” and brings together several museum collections on the traditional life of the town.

The Casa típica enguerina collection faithfully reproduces a house and a square of Enguera in order to present the objects in a setting close to the original; it covers the period from the late 19th century to the first half of the 20th century. The Enguera, villa industrial collection traces the history of the local textile sector from the 18th century to the present day. The archive of old photographs gathers images of places, people and settings that have helped to shape the history of Enguera.
