About the museum
The Centro de Interpretación Ramón y Cajal occupies the house in Ayerbe where the Nobel Prize-winning physician Santiago Ramón y Cajal (1852–1934) spent the best years of his childhood and youth. According to Turismo de Aragón, the house has hosted this centre since 1999. It is run by Ayerbe Town Council.
The route, a guided visit of about one hour, looks at the human and scientific sides of Cajal. It combines audiovisuals and interactive material with original pieces, reproductions and books.
