About the museum

Albinsson & Sjöbergs Bilmuseum is one of two collections run by the publisher Albinsson & Sjöberg in the old porcelain factory at Östra Hamngatan 7 D in Karlskrona. The publisher produces motoring magazines such as Bilsport, Nostalgia and Trailer, and the collection reflects milestones in the publisher's history.

The museum displays cars and motorcycles from past to present that belonged both to ordinary people and to legendary racing drivers and car builders. Among the exhibits are Vallåkragängen's famous Volvo Amazon, Mats Thollander's Volvo with gull-wing doors, replicas of Erik Carlsson's rally Saabs, Håkan “Molle” Molin's deep blue Volvo, several of the project cars featured in Bilsport, classics from the magazine Nostalgia, unique veteran motorcycles and a steam car.

The museum is a living museum, where the vehicles are replaced over time. It shares premises with Karlskrona Porslinsmuseum (porcelain museum), and one joint admission fee applies to both.
