About the museum
Karlskrona Porslinsmuseum is located in the old porcelain factory at Östra Hamngatan 7 D in Karlskrona, right by the water opposite the Aspö ferry. The factory made feldspar porcelain between 1918 and 1968, and the buildings are today the head office of the publisher Albinsson & Sjöberg, which also runs the museum.
The collection includes porcelain from the factory's entire production 1918–1968 and is shown in period settings. There is also some equipment from the factory days, and one of the highlights is the preserved round kiln in exhibition hall A. The museum also has a gallery with art by artists connected with the porcelain museum and Karlskrona.
The museum has a café serving coffee and ice cream, and a shop where porcelain can be bought. The owners also run Albinsson & Sjöbergs Bilmuseum under the same roof, and a joint admission fee applies to both museums.
