About the museum
The petrol station at Harlösa Bilverkstad & Service (car workshop and service) opened in 1951 as a BP filling station and later sold fuel under the name Uno-X. Sales ceased in 1998. The workshop owner Sven Malmborg felt the village would be empty without the filling station, and he restored it to the condition it had in the BP period.
Today the site functions as a private car and tractor museum. Veteran cars and tractors stand parked by the filling station all year round, and the signs light up as they used to. Among the vehicles are, for example, a Renault 4L from 1967, a Ford Taunus 12 M from 1965, a DKW F12 and a Ford Zephyr. It is no longer possible to buy fuel here.
