About the museum
Ernst Rolf-gården is the small red wooden house at Styraregatan 28 in the Elsborg district, where the revue artist Ernst Rolf was born in 1891. The house dates from the mid-18th century, and in earlier times mine workers and craftsmen lived there. It lies a short walk from central Falun, close to Falu Gruva, and is part of the Falun World Heritage site.
In the house there is an exhibition about Ernst Rolf's life and a café with seating in the green inner courtyard. Concerts, children's activities and other cultural events are also held there.
