About the museum
Hem i Haga is Gothenburg City Museum's guided tours of historic flats in Haga Nygata, in the Haga district of Gothenburg. The flats show several different homes from the 18th century up to the 1930s and give an impression of how people lived in Haga in different periods.
Visits take place as guided tours on fixed dates. The meeting point is Haga Nygata 7–9, and the number of places is limited, so advance booking is required. The tour is included in the admission ticket to Gothenburg City Museum, and people under 20 have free admission.
The flats have also been used as a filming location: the homes in the first season of a TV series were filmed here and can be visited during the guided tours.
