About the museum

Jeanettes Puppen- & Spielzeugmuseum in Rüthi opened in 2013 in the Büchlerberg civil defense shelter. It displays more than a thousand dolls made of wood, papier-mâché, wax, porcelain, fabric, celluloid, composition and vinyl. In addition there are toys such as dollhouses, toy shops, toy kitchen stoves with doll's crockery, a miniature farm, a forest scene and a doll hospital.

The museum is looked after by the Museum Commission of the Municipality of Rüthi, which also runs the Ortsmuseum in the village district of Büchel.
