About the museum
The Račić Family Mausoleum, also known as Our Lady of the Angels (Gospa od Anđela), is a work by the Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović from 1922. It is located in the St Roko cemetery, on the highest point of the Rat peninsula above the urban core of Cavtat. It is approached from the south past the Franciscan monastery of Our Lady of the Snow, and from the east by the continuation of Prijeko Street. On its site there previously stood the St Roko cemetery chapel, and probably before it a medieval church dedicated to St Tripun on the same spot. The Muzeji i galerije Konavala list it as one of their units.
