About the museum
The Cellar under the New Town Hall was built by royal moneyers shortly after the founding of Brno in the 13th century. Today it is part of the Brněnské podzemí (Brno Underground), which is run by TIC BRNO.
In the ancient cellar there is the multimedia exhibition Ohnivý kůň a drak, which connects the history of the city with its legends and tales and complements them with illustrations and animations. At the bottom of the cellar visitors can try out the Swedish siege of Brno. The exhibition is also designed for the youngest visitors.

Holders of a BRNOPAS enter free. At the ticket office a 10% discount can be claimed with a Senior pass or Family pass, or with a season or day ticket for IDS JMK. When visiting several sites of the Brno underground, the following discounts apply: 2 sites 10%, 3 sites 15%, 4 sites 20%. Tickets can be bought online and on site.
