About the museum
The Järva-Jaani kinomuuseum opened in September 2006 in the former agricultural machinery laboratory building of the Järva-Jaani kutsekool (vocational school). The guides Vello Kolnes and Tuve Kärner are both cinema projectionists. In 2016–2019 film-reel festivals were held at the museum in August. The museum is also open during the Museum Night and the Järva-Jaani fair.
Next to the museum is a small museum housed in a former outside broadcast bus, the LiAZ-5932 “Magnoolia”, which opened on 11 October 2025 and belongs to the cinema museum.
