About the museum
The Järva-Jaani koduloomuuseum operates in the main building of Orina manor in Järva-Jaani settlement. The museum tells the history of Orina manor and the stories of its former owners, as well as the past of Järva-Jaani church and parish. A separate theme is the history of the local home economics school and school life.
At the museum you can also see the revolving display platform of a 1970s tractor training classroom, where machines can be viewed and, if necessary, put into operation. Through visitor packages, the local history museum forms part of the same whole as the Järva-Jaani muuseumide keskus (museums centre).
