About the museum
The Panelian museo operates in the Jugend-style cooperative dairy building in Panelia. The Panelia museum association was founded in 1956, and the museum moved to its present premises in 1999.
The museum’s collections include more than 3,000 catalogued objects. They come from the museum association, from the home museum of Väinö Heiska and from the local heritage association.
In the village of Panelia there is also the Panelian rivimylly (row mill) at Rivimyllyntie 5, the only four-row row mill in Europe, which groups can visit by arrangement.
