About the museum
Poikilo-museot (Poikilo Museums) is the joint name of the Kouvola Art Museum and the Kouvola City Museum. The museums operate in Kouvolatalo on Varuskuntakatu, and one ticket gives admission to both the art museum and the city museum. The building also houses Kino-Poikilo, the KOUTA gallery of the Kouvola Artists’ Association, and the free Poikilo gallery.
In addition to exhibitions, the museums hold events, lectures and workshops throughout the year. The Museokauppa Poikilo museum shop also sells the Museokortti (Finnish Museum Card).

Free admission: On Fridays from 16:00 to 18:00, admission to the art museum and the city museum is free.
One ticket (€11) gives admission to the art museum and/or the city museum. Holders of a Virta card enter free. The Museokortti (Finnish Museum Card) is valid at the museums and can be bought at Museokauppa Poikilo (€86). Accepted means of payment are bank and credit cards, cash and ePass.
