About the museum
The Pukkilan kotiseutumuseo operates in the Koivulinna yard in the church village of Pukkila. It moved into the Koivulinna yard buildings in 1996. Museum activities are maintained by the Municipality of Pukkila.
Koivulinna is an art nouveau-style villa built at the turn of the 20th century, which the Municipality of Pukkila bought from the estate of Silja Mikkola in the 1980s. The villa houses Galleria Koivulinna, which has organised summer exhibitions since 1987. The local heritage museum and the gallery are open in summer.
