About the museum
The farm museum in Nindorf, a district of Buchhofen in the Deggendorf district, is the collection of private collector Johann Schreiner. It is housed in two purpose-built buildings covering about 1,000 square meters. For his commitment to collecting and preserving cultural heritage, Schreiner was awarded the Bavarian State Medal.
On display are agricultural tools and machines from various eras, household items and workshop equipment of craftsmen such as blacksmiths and saddlers. During the guided tours, which the owner leads himself, machines such as treadwheels are put into operation and explained.
