About the museum
The municipal brewhouse in Fuchsstadt, now a district of Stadtlauringen, brewed beer for the last time in 1965. The building has been a museum ever since. On display are the beer-making devices: the built-in copper brew kettle, the mash tub, the stirring mechanism, the cooling vessel, and the huge fermentation barrels in the cellar.
Expert guided tours give an insight into the brewing craft of earlier times.
