About the museum
The folklore collection of the Armenochori Cultural Association is housed in the old primary school of the village and comprises around 500 objects of folk art. Objects related to pottery stand out, since traditional pottery workshops operated in the area, as well as the traditional costumes of Armenochori.
The collection belongs to the Network of Folklore and Tradition Associations of the Florina prefecture. The network was founded as a civil non-profit company by the former Prefectural Administration of Florina and fourteen bodies that hold folklore collections, with the aim of rescuing, preserving and highlighting the multicultural characteristics of the popular culture of the area.
