About the museum
The folklore collection of the Papagiannis Cultural Association belongs to the Network of Folklore and Tradition Associations of the Florina Prefecture. The network was founded by the former Prefectural Government of Florina and fourteen bodies that hold folklore collections, with the aim of saving and showcasing the folk culture of the region.
The collection is housed in one room of the former primary school and comprises 400–500 objects. Tools, vessels, ceramics and a significant number of traditional costumes cover the full range of activities of the village's agricultural community.
