About the museum
The visitor centre introduces visitors to the natural history of the Hármas-Körös and the ecological effects of river regulation. The long-standing cooperation between water and people is presented through exhibitions, museum education sessions, guided tours and museum lessons. The central theme is the fishing tradition of the Körös, the role of fish in folk nutrition and fish as a cultural symbol.
In the educational and community space, which combines modern knowledge-transfer tools with traditional exhibition elements, visitors can explore ecological thinking as well as the role of environmental and nature protection in an experiential way.
