About the museum
The Kner Printing Museum has operated since 1970 in the former residence of Imre Kner, which was built in 1925 to plans by the architect and graphic designer Lajos Kozma, in folk baroque style. The exhibition presents the work of the members of the Kner family and the history of the Kner Printing House from its founding in 1882 to the present day. Between the two World Wars, the name Kner of Gyoma was synonymous with artistic Hungarian book publishing among the provincial printing houses.
