About the museum
Dör is a small, long-inhabited settlement in the Rábaköz, near Csorna. Its first written mention is from 1220. In the 19th century, many families of bootmakers, weavers and potters lived in the village; the Völcsey potters' dynasty, nearly two hundred years old, still carries on the folk craft.
The heritage house on Szabadság utca and the local history exhibition at the same address present the village's traditions and past. Visits require prior registration.
