About the museum

Around 1910, Jászai Mari bought a small house in Rábatamási, where her younger brother was a cantor-teacher. Until her death she spent her summers here with the family of József Jászai; from here she visited Nagycenk to see Széchenyi's grave, and took walks to the surrounding villages. She furnished the two rooms of the house herself; they can now be visited as a memorial room.
