About the museum
The FUTURA Experience Centre in Mosonmagyaróvár is a four-storey interactive science playhouse housed in a granary building, a listed monument about three hundred years old. The exhibition is organised around the four primordial elements (water, earth, air and fire) and also presents the natural environment, flora and fauna of the Szigetköz.
On the ground floor visitors can try out the phenomena of water. On the first floor they find physical laws, rock and soil types, the landscapes of the Szigetköz and the indoor playground about the hidden world of the soil, the Pocok World. The second floor deals with atmospheric phenomena, wind power plants, sound and the suspension bridge. The third floor welcomes guests with optical curiosities, illusions and the MiniSpaceWorld moon-base model tables.
The admission ticket includes a spectacular experimental demonstration, a Tesla-transformer show and an astronomy lecture in the planetarium. As extra experiences, a 5D projection, the Tesla küldetés (Tesla mission) detective game and the cellar escape room Pániklabor are available.

Permanent exhibitions
- A víz és a föld szintje – On the ground floor, natural water phenomena (currents, water wheels, Archimedes' screw); on the first floor, physical laws, rock and soil types, the Szigetköz landscape and the Pocok World playground.
- A levegő szintje – The second floor deals with atmospheric and weather phenomena, the work of the wind, wind power plants, sound and the suspension bridge.
- A tűz szintje – On the third floor, optical curiosities, illusions, light phenomena and the MiniSpaceWorld moon-landing model tables can be seen.

The admission ticket is a wristband valid for the whole day; the building may be left and re-entered during the visit. The price includes the experimental demonstration, the Tesla-transformer show and the astronomy lecture. Planetarium seats are limited, and admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Hungary Card discount: 10%. Payment is possible in cash, by bank card and with SZÉP card.
