About the museum

The memorial house is located in the Pele-lak in Lillafüred, the former summer house of Herman Ottó and his wife, Borosnyay Kamilla. The new permanent exhibition opened at the Herman Ottó Múzeum branch on 11 May, Miskolc City Day. The exhibition does not follow the usual biographical order: it presents the everyday life in the summer house and the natural wonders of the area, and the couple themselves welcome the guests.

Permanent exhibition

• Vendégségben Herman Ottónál – The everyday life of the former summer house of Herman Ottó and his wife, and the natural assets of the area, presented in a playful way, with a nature trail in the garden.

Free admission: On national holidays (15 March, 20 August, 23 October) all visitors may enter free of charge.

Admission is free for children under six and for people with disabilities (with one companion).
